CRYSTAL LAKE FISHING REGULATIONSNOTE: These regulations are in addition to the Connecticut State Fishing regulations.ATTENTION ANGLERS:
Crystal Lake is a special trout management lake.
There is a Slot Length Limit 12" TO 16"
on TROUT.
Trout equal to or greater than 12 inches and smaller than 16 inches must be returned to the water without avoidable injury.
- The daily creel limit for trout is five (5), not more than one (1) of which may equal or exceed sixteen (16) inches.
- The closed season for fishing is April 1st through 6:00 AM on the second week in April.
- This special length limit regulation should improve angling quality by increasing the number of large holdover trout.
