Message from President Dave Arzt
As president, I would like to thank all those who have served on the Crystal Lake Association Board of Directors, held offices, served on committees and contributed to the general health and well being of the lake. Special thanks to Bill Merson who has served on numerous committees and been Vice President for the past seven years and Mark Mickiewicz who has been President for the past 15 years and never missed a meeting.

I have spent the summers on the lake since 1950 and my wife of 40 years, Bea, and I have been a summer residents for the past 15 years. We have both served on the Board of Directors for the past several years. She is proud to continue to serve on the Board and I am happy to serve the Crystal Lake Community as President of the Board. I am pleased to report that the water quality in the lake continues to be good and although it is similar to picking dandelions and will never end, we are making good progress and keeping up with the milfoil and invasive aquatic plants. We are all keeping an eye on the progress being made and the status of the dam.

I am committed to “preserve, protect and improve Crystal Lake and its surrounding area and promote the general welfare of the property, its owners and residents”. In addition, I am also committed to helping the residents of the lake get to know their neighbors. This message is being brought to you from the front porch; overlooking the lake and watching 3 (and maybe 4) hummingbirds go at it at the feeder.
